Reclaimed wood flooring comes from a variety of sources. By buying reclaimed wood you are making an environmental purchase as essentially you are reusing wood, rather than paying for fresh timber.

As well as making an environmentally conscious purchase you could reap the benefits of going the second-hand route. You can find wood flooring that once was whiskey barrels, has sports lines and any number of other previous incarnations.

Old wood flooring can add depth and character to a room. When renovating an old property reclaimed flooring might be the ideal purchase to compliment your other restoration work.

A children’s bedroom or playroom flooring with sports lines might be the ‘icing on the cake so to speak’, if the children are sports fans.

A study or recreational room could be given more character with whiskey barrel flooring. Not just a talking point, but as you notice from the photo below a stunning floor.

Whiskey Barrel Flooring laid

So as you can see from the photos, an environmental purchase can also be a purchase of character. The wood flooring doesn’t have to be niche and our range of floorboards from a variety of different species.

With some loving care reclaimed flooring can be a fine addition to any property both domestic and commercial. Not only can you purchase wood flooring from our business, but we also provide a flooring cleaning, restoration and repair service. Please head on over to our sister website to find out more regarding those services.

For your reclaimed flooring needs please check out our online store. Plus if you don’t find what you need, send us a message or give us a call on 0845 602 7694. Also don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have.
